Yep, there's more Mona Lisa news out there. Stumbled on this review in the Washington Post of a play called "The Woman Who Amuses Herself" by playwright Victor Lodato. It's being performed this week in DC. I contacted Victor and hope to speak with him this weekend. Check out the review and if you're in the DC area, go see it.
(It's halfway down the page under the heading "Mona Lisa on his Mind.")

OK, I've let you know that two books about the Mona Lisa theft are out -- R.A. Scotti's "The Vanished Smile" and Dorothy and Thomas Hoobler's "The Crimes of Paris."
Here are the links for two really good reviews of these latest Peruggia-related books: one from Mary Jo Murphy of the New York Times who reviews the Scotti book:
and the other from Richard Lacayo of Time Magazine who reviews both Scotti and Hoobler
Today, I had the pleasure of speaking with both Richard Lacayo of Time and Mary Jo Murphy of the NY Times. The exciting thing for me is that they knew about our film. Richard had seen the article on us in ArtNews (http://www.artnewsonline.com/issues/article.asp?art_id=2604)
and Mary Jo found us through this blog.
